76ers Hope to Bounce Back Against Bucks
The Philadelphia 76ers will try to avoid the regular-season sweep against the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday Afternoon, at the Fiserv Forum. The Sixers lost in a thrilling overtime game back in March and were embarrassed Thursday night.
The main story of this mini-series between Milwaukee and Philly has been the health of Ben Simmons. Simmons will be out with an illness yet again, so guards such as George Hill, Tyrese Maxey, and Shake Milton will have to step up in his absence.
This game has all the components of a must-win situation for the 76ers. They are now in 2nd place in the Eastern Conference standings (0.5 games back of Brooklyn) and just 2.5 games in front of the Bucks.
Milwaukee has been shooting lights out. It doesn't seem like their shooting is sustainable, but they are one of the best teams in the league when they are hitting their shots. Giannis Antetokumnpo will always be the main focal point of the defense, so if his supporting cast is hitting their shots, they are nearly impossible to beat.
Donte DiVincenzo missed Thursday's game, so watch for his availability in this one.
Joel Embiid had 24 points in 27 minutes last time out, so expect him to have a much larger load in this game.
