76ers look to get back on track tonight against the Denver Nuggets.
The Philadelphia 76ers (8-7) are getting ready to tip-off against the Denver Nuggets (9-5) in the Ball Arena, as the Sixers look to play the 2nd game in their West coast road trip.
The Injury Report for tonight:
Philadelphia 76ers: Joel Embiid (Health & Safety Protocol) Out, Matisse Thybulle (Health & Safety Protocol) Out, and Danny Green (Left Hamstring Tightness) Out.
Denver Nuggets: Jamal Murray (Knee) Out, Michael Porter Jr. (Back) Out, Will Barton (Back) Doubtful, Zeke Nnaji (Ankle) Out.
Philly, on a 5 game losing streak, has fallen all the way down from the first seed to 8th. They are looking to get back on track against a very tough and talented Denver team led by Nikola Jokic. Denver also missing some key players, have gone 5-1 in their past 6 games while the Sixers have gone 1-5 in their past 6.
Getting back in the win column would be a huge morale booster for this Sixers team and hopefully would get them back on track with what they were doing at the start of the season.
Players to watch tonight:
Philadelphia 76ers: Tyrese Maxey has had an explosive season, and is currently in the running for Most Improved Player of the year. All of his numbers have improved since last season and he has impressed everyone in the NBA.
Denver Nuggets: Nikola Jokic, coming off an MVP year has been putting up nearly identical numbers as last year. He has been the leader for this team as they have been dealing with injuries to some of their biggest contributors.
The fans would've loved to see Embiid vs Jokic but we will have to wait longer to see that matchup.
Tonight, we expect a good hard fought matchup between these two teams. According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Denver Nuggets are 7.5 point favorites.
Tune in tonight at 9:00 PM EST on NBATV or NBSCN Philly!
