Eagles 2021 Training Camp Day 11 Notes
After their first open practice at the Linc and a day off Monday, the Eagles were back on the practice field today in a more light setting. They were not in pads and most guys were in shorts, mainly because the Eagles have their first preseason game in two days.
Let's get to the Notes!

Nick Sirianni spoke to the media before practice, saying they are still talking through who is playing on Thursday against the Steelers but everyone is expected to play.
Sirianni confirmed Jalen Hurts will start at QB but would not say who the starting LT will be.
Sirianni will be calling plays and Shane Steichen will communicate the plays to the QB through the headset.
Sirianni said there is no timetable on Landon Dickerson but they are pleased with his rehab so far.
DeVonta Smith was participating in pre-practice stretching with the limited/injured players today. It is not clear if this means he is closer to returning but definitely a good sign.
Ryan Kerrigan had surgery on his injured thumb and the Eagles project he will be out for a week to 10 days.
After all that, we still have the injury report. Brandon Brooks was limited with a hamstring sprain, Matt Leo was limited while ramping back up after being on the COVID list, Michael Walker was limited with a foot injury, Isaac Seumalo was limited with a hamstring injury, Grayland Arnold is day-to-day with a hamstring injury, Genard Avery is day-to-day with a groin injury, Jason Croom is day-to-day with a knee injury, Craig James is day-to-day with a foot injury, John Hightower is week-to-week with a groin injury, DeVonta Smith is week-to-week with a knee injury, JaCoby Stevens is week-to-week with a hamstring injury, Davion Taylor is week-to-week with a calf injury, and Casey Tucker is week-to-week with a biceps injury.
Hurts started practice well, going 3/3 in 11on11s with a nice completion to Zach Ertz for 20+ yards.
Steven Nelson had a PBU while covering JJ Arcega-Whiteside on a throw from Nick Mullens.
Michael Walker beat Josiah Scott on a double move during 1on1s but came up limping and had to be carted off the field. He was already dealing with a foot injury.
Jordan Mailata was the starting Left Tackle for the second practice in a row , but that was only because Andre Dillard went to the medical tent and eventually went inside after being injured early in practice.
Avonte Maddox blew up a screen pass to Jalen Reagor, but Nelson couldn't get the interception.
K'Von Wallace headed to the medical tent with an unknown injury and then headed to the locker room without any help. I don't want to keep repeating myself, but the Eagles just cannot keep having these injuries when players need reps with a new system.
Joe Flacco looked sharp early in practice, hitting Quez Watkins and Greg Ward over the middle.
Milton Williams blew up a screen play in second team reps, forcing Flacco to throw it away.
Hurts got the ball out a little late on a pass to Reagor over the middle and Darius Slay broke up the pass.
Flacco hit Andre Patton a couple times in 11on11s.
Player of the Day: Joe Flacco
I don't think there was really one standout player from today's practice, since it was a much lighter one with preseason games coming up. But Flacco has had a rough camp so far, and it seems he improved on that today. He seemed to connect a lot with Andre Patton, the former Chargers player who also happens to be from Delaware. Flacco will be QB2 because of how much money the Eagles paid him, so it would be nice for him to have more days like this leading into camp.
