Eagles 2021 Training Camp Day 5 Notes
After an off day Sunday, the Eagles were right back at it on Monday for another practice. The Eagles once again did not have pads on today, so expect that potentially tomorrow or the day after.
Let's get to it!

After coming down with an injury in Saturday's practice, the Eagles announced today that DeVonta Smith is week-to-week with a knee sprain. Later, Adam Schefter reported that Smith would be out 2 to 3 weeks with a sprained MCL. I'd say it is unlikely DeVonta plays in the preseason. The team said they were merely being cautious about their first round pick.
Davion Taylor was limited with a quadriceps injury, Shakial Taylor was limited with a lower body injury, Brandon Brooks is day-to-day with a hamstring injury, Jason Croom is day-to-day with a knee injury, Nate Meadors is week-to-week with a hamstring injury, Isaac Seumalo is week-to-week with a hamstring injuiry and DeVonta Smith is week-to-week with a knee sprain.
S Andrew Adams, who was placed on the Reserve/COVID list before Day 1 of practice, made his Eagles training camp debut today.
Michael Walker went to the trainers tent early in practice. Unsure on what the injury is as of right now.
Andre Dillard started at LT today. Him and Mailata have been rotating every day so far.
Jalen Reagor was taking team reps for the first time in training camp after dealing with an injury and the death of one of his childhood friends.
Reagor, Greg Ward and Travis Fulgham were the starting wideouts today.
Jalen Hurts had a nice start to practice. He hit Fulgham and Zach Ertz on back-to-back plays with nice throws to the sidelines.
Ryan Kerrigan walked inside the Novacare Complex with a trainer. He was looking at his right hand. Unclear of how severe the injury is, but I will update this when I hear.
The offensive line had a tough start to the day. Hurts had to scramble away for two plays in a row.
Tyree Jackson had a nice catch over the middle on a high pass from Joe Flacco. Jackson has had an outstanding camp so far, all things considered.
Fletcher Cox schooled Nate Herbig in a 1on1.
Herbig bounced back on the next rep however, stopping Hassan Ridgeway.
Joe Ostman had a great rep against Brett Toth in 1on1s.
Andre Dillard got off early in a 1on1 against Brandon Graham and still lost. Derek Barnett destroyed Jack Driscoll on the next rep.
Jalen Hurts had a deep bomb touchdown to Quez Watkins, who completely burned the defense. Quez has had an impressive camp.
Hurts made a poor pass in the Red Zone that was intended for Travis Fulgham.
Kenneth Gainwell has had a relativley quiet camp but caught a screen pass and juked through the defense for a 15 yard gain. Quez Watkins caught a screen pass for a touchdown.
Nate Herbig, who was filling in for Isaac Seumalo at LG, was banged up and replaced by Sua Opeta.
Zech McPhearson picked off Nick Mullens in 11on11 drills. The ball was clearly underthrown.
