Everything you need to know about the 76ers Preseason
The Sixers, a week into their training camp, will start their preseason campaign tonight in Toronto. With tons of distractions on the whereabouts of Ben Simmons throughout the offseason, we will finally get a taste of life without Ben.
The 76ers Organization released the preseason roster earlier today:
Yes, this is just preseason and the games mean nothing, but this will be an opportunity for fringe guys to show they belong. Over the next two weeks, we will see players such as Paul Reed, Isaiah Joe, Jaden Springer, Charles Bassey (for the first time), Grant Riller, Aaron Henry, Frank Mason and Shaq Harrison showcase their talents, as there are still minutes up for grabs down the depth chart.
Unfortunately, Bassey will not make the trip to Toronto due to visa issues. A team official reported that this is an isolated incident and he will not miss any additional preseason games.
Embiid has already been ruled out for game one of the preseason and I don't expect him to get much playing time until the regular season starts.
NBC Sports Philadelphia will only be showing 2/4 preseason games, both of those being home games. So we won't see the debut of Kate Scott until Thursday.
