Flyers look to keep rolling against the Bruins

Well, the Flyers have had a good start to April so far as they beat the Bruins last night by a final score of 3-2 in overtime. Brian Elliot came up huge for the Bruins saving 27 shots of the 29 he faced. Travis Sanheim came up big last night as well as he netted the game-winning goal for the Flyers in overtime.

The Flyers look to keep their hot streak going tonight as they will face the same Bruins lineup as they did last night. The Flyers need to keep up the pressure that they put on the Bruins yesterday and keep firing shots at the net.

The defense did help out a lot last night against the Bruins making the plays when they needed to. Now they weren't perfect last night, they had a turnover that led to a goal, but overall they did a solid job. The defense will need to have another solid night to keep this point streak going.

The Bruins will roll out the same lineup as last night. The Bruins miss Rask in the net as the Bruins are just on a downward spiral right now and the Flyers need to come up with two points tonight. A win would be huge for the Flyers, it would get them back on track for the playoffs which are approaching soon.

Carter Hart will go between the pipes tonight for the Flyers and he needs a big bounce back in any way possible. Hart has a 3.92 goals-against average, which is pretty bad. He needs to have a good bounce-back start tonight. If Hart can get the job done, it will give him so much confidence back that he needs.

The Flyers will see Jeremy Swayman tonight in the net for the Bruins. You probably have not heard his name before. That is because he is making his NHL debut against the Flyers. The Flyers should give Swayman a good ole fashion welcoming to the NHL. The Flyers need to strike early and fast. Swayman has a good stick side to his game but struggles on the glove side. Swayman also struggles a little bit with rebound control. The Flyers need to put shots on the net fast.

If they can make Swayman work and the defense comes to play, I see the Flyers taking a 3-1 victory over the Bruins today. The Flyers need to strike quick and fast and make Swayman work in his NHL debut.
