On June 29th, Sixers fans were having a normal day till we got surprised by the news of our dearly beloved Marc Zumoff was retiring of NBC Sports Philadelphia after 30 years of a sucesfull carrer as the favorite voice of the Philadelphia 76ers. Zumoff called over 2,100 games during his carrer as a narrator of the games making it more fun to watch. (we even ditched national games for hear his voice)

Him, alongside Alaa Abdelnaby have been the best duo since 2015, making it one of the most iconic narrators in the league.

Zumoff joined PRISM in 1982, first serving as the network’s studio host before being named the Sixers’ play-by-play announcer. He was named the National Sports Media Association’s Pennsylvania Sportscaster of the Year in both 2018 and 2019, and he’s the member of two halls of fame — Temple University’s School of Communications and Theater Hall of Fame and the Philadelphia Jewish Sports Hall of Fame.
