Phillies, Reds series preview

The Philadelphia Phillies will welcome the Reds to Citizens Bank Park for a three-game series that will be vital for the Phillies to win.


Currently, the Phillies have a half of a game lead over the New York Mets in the National League East Division.


Catcher J.T. Realmuto received good news that he didn't have a concussion, so, he will be available for the series against the Reds.


We will see the Juggernaut of pitching rotation for the Phillies with Wheeler going today, Nola on Sunday, however, the Phillies still have yet to name a starter on Saturday. We will keep you posted on who will be the starter on Saturday.


The reds will have a couple of righties up for them with Tyler Mahle today, Luis Castillo on Saturday, and Sonny Gray on Sunday.


The Reds have no injuries or players that will miss time in this series.


The Reds are down to the competition that the Phillies can handle. It should an interesting series for the Phillies.


Furthermore, Bryce Harper has been on an absolute tear this year. He bat has done incredible work this year. Look for Bryce to knock a couple over the wall this series.


Ronald Torreyes has been outstanding for the Phillies. He is the clutches player on this Phillies team with runners in scoring position, hitting .340 with runners in scoring position.


The Phillies need to win this series and with the struggles, the Reds have seen recently the Phillies need to jump all over this team.
