Sixers revoke season tickets at fan who threw popcorn at Westbrook

Remember the fan who threw popcorn at Russell Westbrook on Game 2 of the Playoffs at Wells Fargo Center? well, he can say goodbye to going to any event at the arena. The Sixers released a statement this morning regarding the incident last night:

“After an investigation into the incident that occurred at last night’s game, we have determined that the person involved will have his season ticket membership revoked, effectively immediately. In addition, he will be banned from all events at Wells Fargo Center indefinitely. We apologize to Russell Westbrook and the Washington Wizards for being subjected to this type of unacceptable and disrespectful behavior. There is no place for it in our sport or arena.”

After the events of last night, thousands of fans reacted angry at the incident and they remembered the infamous event "Malice at the Palace" where Pistons - Pacers were involved in the most infamous brawl in NBA history. And don't forget this topic is gonna be talked about on the next few days because of this clown

Westbrook talked about the situation that happened at postgame media calling it: "this s*** is getting out of hand"

The NBA has posted a statement condening the situation that not only happened in Philadelphia, also this happened in New York, when a fan spitted on Hawks player Trae Young last night at game two of the Knicks-Hawks series at Madison Square Garden. He was banned from the arena.

As we come back to the arena to enjoy a good game of playoff basketball, let's control our emotions during the game, no matter what team are we rooting during the championship run. You can scream and complain all you want but please let's respect the players, coaches, referees and authorities to avoid more problems.
