Taking a look at the new Phillies faces in the club

Well, everyone with the trade deadline officially behind us, let's take a look at some of the Phillies' moves.

Their first move at the deadline was acquiring left-handed pitcher Braeden Ogle from the PIrates for father Abrahan Gutierrez. If you remember Gutierrez was supposed to be a part of the Tyler Anderson deal but that fell through due to the Phillies having an injured player for the trade.

The time passed on and we saw big-name players being moved all over the place. Bryant went to the Giants, Baez went to the Mets, the Braves completely re-did their outfield.

This was by far one of the best trade deadlines in a while.

Big-name players going left and right, the Phillies were expected to make a big move.

With about an hour left before the deadline, the Phillies made their move. The Acquired all-star Kyle Gibson and Ian Kennedy from the Rangers. Spencer Howard was the main point in the trade.

Just when you thought the Phillies were done, they surprised us all and traded for Freddy Galvis. This move was to help the Phillies with their atrocious defense.

Ultimately the Phillies were buyers at the deadline and added to their team. There weren't any major additions to the team but these additions only help the team to win the division.
